Story of this song

I originally wrote "Living For The Night" for another band, but they dissolved on the spur of the moment (I hope they didn't get a stake driven through their chests). It's a song from the perspective of vampires, showing how they enjoy their (un)life. The demo was a bit slower and more rock-oriented. By chance, I came across a plugin for my music software that let me simulate disco strings. And just like that, the slightly crazy idea was born to turn “Living For The Night” into a rock song with a ’70s disco vibe, ’80s synth and new wave flair, plus a dash of pathos and a touch of metal. The result is a fun song about the undead, and in the Extended Bite version, it features a wild guitar solo—the kind we unfortunately see far too few of these days.

The music video for the song, meanwhile, shows the perspective of a vampire hunter at work, with a plot twist at the end that turns everything upside down!
