Caroline Breitler

Caroline Lilian Breitler was born in 1986 in canton Zug, Switzerland. She discovered her fascination with singing as a small child, improvising melodies and lyrics while playing with toys. She joined a youth choir at eight, and by twelve was singing solos across the country with a choir called "Ten Sing." Between 1995 and 1998 she played the violin, then tried the saxophone before switching to guitar so she could keep singing along. She later attended teacher training college, studying German, English and Sports while specializing in Music, her true passion. For her, it is crucial to pass on her joy of music, both to her students and through charity work.

Alongside college, Caroline trained her voice professionally for many years. From 2001 she took classical vocal lessons as well as lessons in pop, rock and jazz. At 16, she impressed the jury on the first broadcast of Swiss Music Star and reached the finals as one of the best candidates, followed by her first EP of self-written songs.

Her first band, "intact," came next. They entered various contests and played stages including the Volkshaus in Zürich. Several cover collaborations followed: a duo with Mischa Podstransky, "Dada ante Portas"; longtime guest singer for the local band "7t cover"; the acoustic trio "Naughty Spinsters" with Julian von Flüe; concerts with Joe Schwach and Steve Loesche as "Prairie Pearls"; and front singer of the popular partyband "Charisma," performing acoustically with its guitarist, Darko Obadic.

Since 2009 she has belonged to the "Swiss Team," specializing in infotainment, roadshows, gala dinners and product launches, and traveling frequently abroad. With Steve Loesche, she often travels to the US to play with American musicians in California.

One highlight was singing at the Swiss Life Arena in Geneva, where she and Anastacia performed "One Day in Your Life" as a duo. She also joined Marc Storace ("Krokus") and Toni Vescoli ("Les Sauterelles") as a judge for the Rock Voice Contest, closing the show with a duet alongside Marc. Caroline is now working with Alessandro del Vecchio on her upcoming album. Alessandro is known for "The True Vocal Technique," Frontiers Records, Ivory Music Works Studio, and the rock band "Hardline," and coaches her rock and country voice.
